1. Deep commitment to LWR's core values and ability to model those values in relationships with colleagues and partners 2. Three (3) to five (5) years experience in international development 3. Master's degree in a relevant field 4. Proficiency in French, fluency not required 5. Successful track record of program development; proven and sustained success in raising restricted funds donors 6. Experience as a writer for successful proposals to USAID, US Department of State and major foundations 7. Excellent oral and written communications skills in English 8. Strong facilitation skills; emphasis on participatory approaches 9. Experience with and commitment to working in a very diverse workforce 10. Familiarity with Lutheranism, church structures, and church member motivations and sensitivities preferred. 11. Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration among various departments 12. Ability to manage complex projects with a high degree of independence 13. Ability to travel overseas up to twenty percent (20%) of the time When applying, a cover letter written in French is preferred. |
