1. Deep commitment to LWR's core values and ability to model those values in relationships with colleagues and partners. 2. A Bachelor's degree is required. A graduate degree in a field relevant to international development is preferred. 3. Three (3) or more years experience working on grants management for an international development or relief organization. Demonstrated experience with US Government regulations and grant procedures strongly preferred. 4. Strong analytical ability. 5. Strong time management skills; ability to meet deadlines under pressure. 6. Ability to produce US government and foundation reports, work plans and other deliverables. 7. Ability to effectively represent organization to external donors. 8. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as internet-based communications (Skype, Messenger). 9. Ability and willingness to travel up to 15 percent of her/his time, including travel in difficult terrain and /or crisis zones. 10. Excellent oral and written communications skills in English. Functional proficiency in French, required. 11. Experience with and commitment to working in a very diverse workforce. 12. Familiarity with Lutheran theology, church structures, and church member motivations and sensitivities preferred. 13.
